To add a device to the list, you need to sign in with your Apple ID. After you sign in to your device with your Apple ID, the device will appear in the list. Here’s what you need to enter:
Your AirPods will appear in Find Myapp, but not in the list of Apple ID devices. You can remove AirPods from your account using Find My. Devices running iOS 7 or earlier or OS X Mavericks or earlier will not appear in your list of devices.
If your device is missing, you can use Find Myto to locate your device and take additional steps to help recover it and keep your data safe. If you no longer use your device or don’t recognize it, you can remove it from the list.
If you’ve set up two-factor authentication for your AppleID, removing the device ensures that it can no longer display verification codes. It also won’t have access to iCloud and other Apple services, including FindMy, until you sign in again with two-factor authentication. The device will not appear in the list until you sign in again.

If you can’t complete any of these steps, if you’re still prompted for a password, or if you need other help, contact Apple. Update December 1, 2016: Following our post below showing how to check if your iPhone 6s is eligible for Apple’s battery replacement program, the company has now added its tool via the program’s webpage.
How To Check If Your Iphone 13 Is Fake Or Original
When Apple announced its iPhone 6s battery replacement program last week, identifying some models that may be eligible for free repairs due to unexpected failures, it only provided manufacturing dates for the affected devices. He advised customers to make a trip to an Apple Store or Authorized Retailer if they have problems to see if they deserve a repair. But there’s a quick and easy way to check if your device is OK at home, using the same process that Apple repair workers would use in stores…
Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices may turn off unexpectedly. This is not a security issue and only affects devices with a limited number of serial numbers that were manufactured between September and October 2015…. Your iPhone will be inspected prior to any service to ensure it is eligible for this program and in working order.
Apple is replacing batteries for what it says is a “very limited number of iPhone 6s devices” that were manufactured between September and October 2015 for a limited number of serial numbers. Here’s how to test your device:
Apple store employees will replace the battery and other parts if available, but otherwise they will send out other batteries or sometimes replace the entire device. However, we are hearing from multiple sources at Apple stores that battery supplies are limited and some stores will have to wait until December 5th or later to get stock for repairs. One Apple store we spoke to had about 60 battery parts for customers waiting to be repaired, while other reports this week also indicate a supply shortage following the introduction of Apple’s new repair program.
How To Tell If Your Iphone Is Unlocked & What Does That Mean? (2022 Update)
Regular wear and tear is expected, so as long as your device is in working order, you should be eligible for a battery replacement or device exchange if you fall into the serial number range above. However, Apple store employees only provide repairs to people who report unexpected disconnection problems.
Apple notes that the plan will cover “affected iPhone 6s batteries for 3 years after the first retail sale of the device.” You can also request a refund if you have already paid for a repair or battery replacement on the device in question.
A message from Apple about iPhones and unexpected shutdowns. We care deeply about our customers and take their concerns about Apple products seriously. After listening to reports from iPhone customers whose devices turned off unexpectedly, we carefully read these reports, collected and analyzed the devices. We found that a small number of iPhone 6s units manufactured in September and October 2015 had a battery component that was exposed to controlled air longer than it should have been before it was attached to the battery packs. As a result, these batteries run faster than normal batteries and cause unexpected shutdowns. It is important to note that this is not a security issue. To help our customers who experience this problem, we replace the batteries in damaged devices free of charge. iPhone 6s owners can easily find out if their device qualifies by entering their device’s serial number on the iPhone 6s Unexpected Issue Exclusion Program webpage. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers. We also want our customers to know that iPhones are actually designed to automatically turn off under certain conditions, such as extremely low temperatures. For an iPhone user, some of these shutdowns may seem unexpected, but they are designed to protect the device’s electronics from low voltage. We looked for any other reasons that could cause the iPhone to turn off unexpectedly. After a thorough investigation, no new causes were discovered. We will continue to monitor and analyze customer messages. We encourage any customer experiencing a problem with an Apple product to visit an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider or contact Apple Support.
