My Facebook Account Was Hacked And The Email Was Changed – My Facebook was hacked 6 days ago and my email and phone number were removed. I’ve tried everything to get my Facebook back and I really don’t want to start another one.
My page is still active, but the email it contains is not the email I use. I’ve tried all the options in the Facebook Help Center and it doesn’t help either. Please help me if there are other ways to get it back because I want my Facebook back.
My Facebook Account Was Hacked And The Email Was Changed
Step 1 First, visit the official website of the hacked Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/hacked and then click on “My account is hacked”. Then, on the next tab, enter your email address or login name, or enter your full name or phone number, but if you still can’t find your Facebook account, try entering something more specific. Step 2 The real account recovery process starts here, here you need to enter the account password, not the real one, because if you know the Facebook password, you will not be here, try to enter your old password. Step 3 Now select “Password Reset Button”. Step #4 Of course, if someone hacks you, the hacker has changed your password, so now you have to hit the “you can no longer access them” button. Step 5 Now in this step enter new password and confirm it.

However, some hackers go further and delete the account completely. If it happened more than 30 days ago, the only option is to create a new account.
However, if the deletion occurred less than a month ago, you may still be able to save your account. Let’s see what you need to do.
Before we get into troubleshooting, let’s take a look at the steps you can take before a hacker has a chance to delete your account.
Facebook Account Hacked? Here’s How To Get It Back
If you are not sure whether your Facebook account is hacked, you should check if someone is using your Facebook account or not. Catching the problem early is the best scenario for recovering your account.
As a Facebook user, you should keep your contact information up to date, including your email and phone number. Facebook will send you notifications about new logins and changes to your login details. If someone has taken over your account, the first place you want to go is your email account. Look for communication from Facebook.
If you received an email from Facebook notifying you of the changes, open the email and click the Protect your account link. This process will redirect you to a help page to help you recover your account.
Assuming you didn’t get this email in time, that’s okay. There are still other options to help you recover your Facebook account after deletion, even if the hacker has changed your login information.
Facebook Marketplace Scams—and How To Avoid Them 2022
The good thing about deleting an account is that Facebook doesn’t delete it immediately. Instead, it will keep the account “active” but make it invisible to your friends for 30 days. Here’s how to recover a hacked and deleted account.
It is possible that the hacker forgot to change the login information before deleting the account. If so, here’s how to reactivate and regain access to your account.
If you succeeded, you should see all your contacts, photos, posts, etc., provided the hacker didn’t delete them.
The most common scenario, especially for inexperienced hackers, is that they only change the password. Even if you can’t reactivate your account with your old password, you can still get your account back. Here’s how to do it.
What Happened To Facebook, Instagram, & Whatsapp?
Let’s say the hacker was a little more thorough than the previous case and blocked you from accessing the email account you use to log into Facebook. You still have the option to get your account back. First you should check if the password is still valid.
If the hacker was accurate and changed both your email and password, you can eventually recover your account using your phone number.
Regardless of the process used to solve your hacked Facebook / Meta account problem, create a super secure password now and in the future. Also, consider changing the associated email and adding two-factor authentication to make future hacks even less likely.
Facebook offers users the option to download and save all their Facebook data to the website. However, if your account has been deleted after the 30-day suspension period has expired, it will not be possible to restore it. Although Facebook claims it may store some information, it does not have any personal posts, images, or anything related to an individual.
Do You Use Gmail To Log In To Facebook? You’re At Risk Of Being Hacked
Basically, if someone hacked your account and deleted it, nothing can be recovered after the first 30 days.
Unfortunately, Facebook does not have a phone number or chat service to put you in touch with a customer service representative for further assistance. The only option you have is to contact the Facebook support team. You won’t get immediate feedback, but the team will do their best to help you.
Remember to be as detailed as possible when filling out forms to reduce the number of interactions you have and how long it will take to resolve your issue.

However, the end is not near if your Facebook account has been hacked because there is a pretty decent account recovery process. You should soon have your precious Facebook account back.
What To Do If Your Facebook Account Gets Hacked?
Regaining control of your Facebook account is actually surprisingly easy and a fairly simple process. First, you need to report that your account has been hacked at facebook.com/hacked. From here, Facebook will guide you through the process of restoring your account; just click the “My account is hacked” button below.
You will then be asked to enter your email address, phone number, username or full name associated with your Facebook profile. Facebook will now search for all relevant users, if you don’t see your name in the list, try typing something else in the search bar, like your name or phone number.
Click on your profile and enter the last password you remember associated with your account. Of course, if your current password works and hasn’t been changed, log into Facebook normally and change your password as soon as you see anything suspicious. If your password has been changed, Facebook will allow you to use your old password to help you regain access.
You will then see a pop-up message informing you that you have entered your old password and you can now click “Reset my password”. You will now be prompted to receive an email from Facebook with a password reset link. Obviously, if your email associated with your account has been changed, you don’t want to send that email to a hacker’s address, so click “Can’t access them anymore?”. Similarly, if your email account has been hacked, we suggest you choose this option and you may want to read my guide to recover a hacked Gmail address.
How To Tell If Your Facebook Has Been Hacked, And What You Can Do About It
You can now mark the new email address you want to send the link to, which will also make this email address your primary login email for your account. Click “Continue” and wait for your email, and if you don’t see it, please check your spam folder or send it to another email address. Follow the details in your email to reset your password and you should now finally be in control of your Facebook account.
There are many ways to prevent someone from accessing your account again, so if you really don’t want to, it’s best to follow these steps
