My Facebook Has Been Hacked And Disabled – Having a hacked Facebook account is very frustrating and can lead to misunderstandings. However, some hackers go further and delete the account entirely. If this happened more than 30 days ago, your only option is to create a new account.
However, if the deletion happened less than a month ago, you may still have a chance to save your account. Let’s see what you need to do.
My Facebook Has Been Hacked And Disabled
Before we start solving the problem, let’s first explore the actions you can take before the hacker gets a chance to delete your account.
Facebook Hacked And Disabled — Handxmade
If you are not sure whether your Facebook account has been compromised, you should verify whether someone is using your Facebook account or not. Catching the problem early is the best case scenario for getting your account back.
As a Facebook user, you should update your contact information, including your email and phone number. Facebook will send you alerts about new links and changes to your information. If someone has taken over your account, the first place you’ll want to go is to your email account. Search communication from Facebook.
If you received an email from Facebook notifying you of the changes, open the email and click the Secure your account link. This process takes you to a help page that helps you recover your account.
If you didn’t catch this email in time, that’s okay. There are still other options to help you recover your Facebook account after it has been deleted, even if the hacker has changed your login credentials.
Facebook Account Hacked? Here Are Some Tips
The good thing about deleting an account is that Facebook doesn’t delete it immediately. Instead, it keeps the account “live” but makes it invisible to your friends for 30 days. Here’s how to go about recovering a hacked and deleted account.
There is a small chance that the hacker forgot to change your login information before deleting the account. If so, here’s what to do to reactivate and regain access to your account.
If you succeeded, you should see all your contacts, photos, posts and so on, assuming the hacker didn’t delete them.
The most common scenario, especially with inexperienced hackers, is that they will just change the password. Although you cannot reactivate your account with your old password, you can still recover your account. Here’s how to do it.
Ways To Recover A Hacked Facebook Account
Let’s say that the hacker was a little better than the previous case and that he denied you access to the email account that you use to log into Facebook. You always have a way to recover your account. First, you need to check if the password is still valid.
If the hacker was thorough and changed both your email and password, it’s possible to recover your account using your phone number.
Whatever process you use to troubleshoot your Facebook/Meta account, make sure you create a super strong password now and in the future. Also, consider changing the associated email and adding 2-factor authentication to make future hackers even less likely.
Facebook gives users the ability to download and save all their Facebook data on the website. But if your account is deleted after the 30-day retention period, there’s no way to get it back. While Facebook states that it may store some information, this does not contain any personal posts, photos or anything related to the person.
Recover Disabled Facebook Account: 2022, Without Email
Basically, if someone hacked your account and deleted it, there’s no way to get anything back after the first 30 days.
Unfortunately, Facebook does not have a phone number or chat service that puts you in touch with a customer service representative for further assistance. Your only option is to contact Facebook’s support team. You won’t get immediate feedback, but the team will do everything they can to help you.
Remember, be as detailed as possible when filling out the forms to reduce the number of interactions you have and how long it will take to resolve your issue.

Honestly, I’m losing hope, but I still want to try as much as I can to get my account back before it gets deleted. I made @official on Instagram as a placeholder account while I wait, and if all else fails, I’ll use that as my new account. UPDATE: I got my account back! @official will archive.
Facebook Is A Joke. 2 Days Ago Someone From Iraq Hacked My Account Changed My Photos & Without Warning Facebook Accused Me Of Child Porn And Have Completely Disabled My Account, Told
My personal Facebook account was deactivated without warning. I was hacked and the hacker posted things against the guidelines on my account and it got disabled.
…I don’t know how this could happen – I didn’t get emails about suspicious logins, nor did I get notifications about multiple password attempts, etc. password generator. I’m usually very careful about these things and I usually turn on 2FA as well. I was under the impression he was drunk – but I could be wrong.
A friend took a screenshot of an unauthorized change to my account profile photo and asked if I had been hacked that day too:
I was also charged for Facebook advertising that I did not approve. It appears that the hacker actually created ads programmed with my Paypal that were linked to my Facebook account. A long time ago (2018?) I tried Facebook ads ONCE and never used them again. But since I didn’t remove Paypal as a payment method, it was still considered “authorized”, so the hacker could use it without much trouble.
Dear Facebook. Are You Following The Isis Flag Hack?
Apparently Paypal is useless when it comes to these things, so what I did was remove Facebook as a recurring Paypal payment and file an unauthorized charge ticket with the link attached to the Paypal account.
I also sent an email to secure my account (probably standard procedure to send to people who requested a FB ad refund), but I couldn’t log in at all, let alone secure my account because my account was already disabled. . This is the same through any other Facebook help article/channel – since my account is already disabled, I couldn’t do anything in it, including fixing the hacking issue.
I was refunded – which means Facebook agrees that I was hacked. But internally nothing was/could be done on my hacked and disabled account based on the hacker’s activities.
I believe Facebook misunderstood and thought I was the one posting the posts/pictures/pages when it was hacked.
Local Business Owner Loses Access To Facebook Account After Being Hacked
At this point, I’ve already reached out to an actual Facebook employee (friend of a friend, etc.) to see if anything can be done about my profile – although they mentioned that they’ve already “reviewed this decision and can’t turn.” what is EARTH 😔
I understand that the person (thanks for helping 😭) doesn’t work in this department and can only “ops” my profile, but I can’t do anything and just be patient and hope for the best, I’ll wait for an update.
Turns out, a hacker probably removed me as an admin from my site, and now I’m using my site to… do whatever they’re doing??? This is frankly disgusting and I think my Facebook page is probably gone and I will never get it back.
But I still hope to be able to find my personal Facebook account and especially my page @ Instagram that I organically built for 6 years … all the memories, all the milestones … I have saved all the photos separately on my disk, luckily, but that’s just it. …different.
How To Restore Admin Access Of A Hacked Facebook Page?
This was the last thing I saw on my Instagram page before it was disabled. (Actually, I started pre-ordering my clotheslines BEFORE they were disabled, but thanks to my friends and the friends I made on IG, the order was filled and I sent them to production! 💖 Thanks guys 🥺)
How will I get the same username back??? All Instagram stories… 😔 Will I get 10k followers again for that scrolling feature? 😅
Now, I still have hope that I can get my account back. Apparently Instagram will delete my account after 30 days of them taking action on my accounts, so I’m really trying to be patient.
Well, so far only my personal Facebook profile and @ on Instagram, but!!! These two are the most important to me right now 🥺 So I’m just very very grateful.
Need Help Restoring Level Progress Due To Facebook Account Being Hacked And Disabled — King Community
How did I get it back? Honestly….I almost gave up. I even made another Instagram account and prepared for the worst. The only thing I could do was wait and hope that Facebook would come back to me before the 30 days were up. Btw I got them on the 27th! 😱😱😱😱😱SUPER SCARY EVERYTHING CAN BE DELETED!!! 😭
However, I would say that I was really lucky. I’ve had friends of friends who work at Facebook come up to me and say they’ll help me request a ticket to help me with my profile inside. I probably had about 4-5 people helping me this way at one point??? Although some of
