Someone recently asked me a question about being a Mormon. I gave them my testimony about Jesus Christ and explained that my faith in him is related to the Book of Mormon, because the Book of Mormon really testifies of Jesus Christ. He clearly explained his work, the results of his sacrifice, and our relationship with him as our Savior.

Because of this, the Book of Mormon strengthens my testimony of the Bible. Like the Bible, the Book of Mormon was written by God’s prophets who sought to convince their people to repent and obey the laws and serve His Son, Jesus Christ. Both books are true and interrelated.

I am who I am because of the truth in the Book of Mormon. He gave me so much joy and wisdom. It helped me understand the world we live in and see how I can return safely and happily to my Heavenly Home.
